The Spina Bifida statistics for WashingtonState are as follows: In this state, the number of babies who are born with this medical problem has not been tracked. An estimated 2.1 million women in the state are due to give birth and are at some risk of delivering babies with this disability. The number of people of Hispanic origin represents 9.8 percent of the population which amounts to 641,823 (which has a higher risk of being affected with SB).
There are three Spina Bifida clinics, hospitals and doctors that are in the state which provide aid to people affected with SB. Two SB clinics are present in Spokane while one SB clinic is located in Seattle. At the Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, patients affected with SB can be registered. The SB Association of Washington State offers help and support services in the state.
