The Spina Bifida statistics for Montana are as follows: In the state of Montana no babies were born with this medical condition during 2004. The data shows a reduction from previously in the number of babies born with this health issue. Our research shows that in the state of Montana, around 304,000 women are of childbearing age, and many have some  risk of giving birth to babies born with this birth defect. The number of people living in Montana of Hispanic origin is 3 percent of the population which equals 29,023 (which has a higher risk of being affected with SB).

The SB Association of Montana Support Group is responsible for offering help and support services in the state. However there are currently no clinics or support groups in this state.
